The stock Air Box breaths from a snorkel that is right behind the driver side headlight.
Remove the Intake with snorkel attached.
Take a drill and drill out the rivet.
Remove the stock rubber fitting in the frame where the snorkel fit into it.
Some stock here but not I.
Mark a 4" hole around the stock snorkel placement on the air box and cut it out with a dremel.
Get about a 12" piece of 4" dryer duct and place one end in the air box.
Replace the Intake. "A drop-in K&N would be a great idea now."
Now reach in and put the other end of the duct where the Stock snorkel went into the frame. With the snorkel and fitting out a 4" dryer duct fits perfectly snug.
Now you have a gutted air box with a lot more airflow than the stock 1" snorkel. Also it will look completely stock.
