This is an easy one if you use the right tools. All you have to do is cut out
the old motor mounts and slide in the new ones.
Unbolt ONE
motor mount bracket at both ends and remove. Leave the other one in place for
now. 15mm bolts and nuts.
I use a Swiss Army Knife Hacksaw Blade. Any short length, large toothed blade will do. A reciprocating saw will do this job in seconds. Whichever you choose, you'll want to lubricate the blade frequently with WD-40 or the like. (See pic)
Cut the
rubber just above and just below the metal center-piece of the motor mount.
Use patience, it will take a little time and wear your arm out.
Remove the metal center-piece. Then, using a screwdriver and pliers, pull the rest of the rubber motor mount out of the bracket.
Slide
the ZZP motor mount in place. Make sure the tabs in the motor mounts line up
with the cuts in the bracket.
Reinstall the bracket. Tighten the bolts 1 turn past handtight.
Repeat
for other bracket.
Sweep rubber fragments gently off of fan shroud. If you get a lot of them on
the exhaust manifold you'll be smelling burning rubber for a week.
